The BMW M5 started being produced in 1986, by placing the engine of the bmw M1 into the chassis of a bmw 535i. This partnership produced one of the best cars in the world, with all the advantages of a saloon, like seating for 5 and a spacious cabin, without the drawbacks of a super car. The variants of the M5 are the E28, E34, E39, E60 and F10. The latest M5 is capable of producing 560 hp and a delimited top speed of over 200mph/330kph.
